Sales agreement & Health Guarantee
This sales agreement is made between Breeder, Ashley Woods and the
Buyer:
For the purchase of the following dog:

The Breeder is selling the above dog for a total price of $1,200.00. The buyer is giving a deposit of 200.00 and has a final balance of $1,000.00 due to the Breeder upon release of the dog to the buyer.
Dewormed: Safe-guard 5ml 2,4,6 weeks
Vaccinated: Canine Distemper on

The buyer agrees to provide a life-long commitment, comfortable environment, prompt medical attention, proper grooming and overall responsible care. This includes keeping this puppy/dog parasite free and up-to-date with vaccinations, proper nutrition, which consists of good quality professional feed given at regular intervals and fresh water available at all times. The buyer promises to provide a safe environment and to never allow the dog to roam freely without proper fencing or supervision.

A health record of all shots and/or deworming will be provided by the Breeder/Seller. Most puppies do have intestinal parasites, we do NOT guarantee against them in our puppies. We DO guarantee that our puppies have been dewormed at age appropriate intervals as recommended by our Veterinarian.

It is strongly recommended that the Buyer takes their puppy to a licensed veterinarian of their choice within 72 hours, starting from the time of transfer, for a physical examination. The Breeder assumes absolutely no responsibility for fees/costs associated with care for the pup.

The Breeder has taken precautions to protect the health of the Dam and litter, however, the Breeder does not guarantee against communicable diseases, such as parvovirus, coccidian, giardiasis, distemper, rabies, etc. The buyer agrees to be extra cautious where you take your puppy until fully immunized against these types of diseases. Puppies do NOT have a fully developed immune system and do not receive all their shots until 16 weeks of age. Please be extra careful to prevent exposing your puppy to K9 diseases when he/she is young.

The Breeder does not guarantee size, coat, color, undescended testicle, hip dysplasia, under/overbite, fertility, hypoglycemia, umbilical hernia, retained puppy teeth or internal/external parasites, etc. However, all puppies receive a health vet check from a licensed veterinarian before leaving the Breeder and all information is disclosed to the buyer.

If a congenital defect is identified within the warranty period of two years, the Buyer has the option to obtain a replacement puppy from the Seller. Original puppy need not be returned provided there is proper documentation of the congenital issue. No cash refunds are given. Our guarantee does not include poisoning, parasites, reproductive problems, accidents, lack of training, viral illnesses, infections, improper bites, stress-related illness, hernia, cancer or behavioral problems.

If it is determined by a licensed veterinarian that the puppy/dog was “unfit for purchase”or has a genetic disorder that is identified within the warranty periods described above, the Buyer may choose another puppy from another litter.

Buyer must supply any requested veterinary records related to the dog’s condition to the seller within seven days of diagnosis. Seller has the right to require a second opinion from a veterinarian and/or veterinary specialist of the Seller’s choice at the Seller’s expense. If tests are performed and results are undetermined or inconclusive, warranty is void. If the puppy is euthanized or in any way disposed of, without a second opinion from the seller’s veterinarian, the buyer waives all rights to a replacement puppy. This warranty is non-transferable.

If, at any time, Buyer is unable to keep or care for the puppy/dog, at Breeder’s sole election, the puppy shall be returned to Breeder with duly executed documentation transferring Buyer’s ownership interest in the puppy/dog to Breeder or rehomed by Buyer with Breeder’s prior written approval.

The buyer agrees to contact the Breeder immediately if any questions arise about the dog, such as housing, diet or health. The Buyer agrees to keep the Breeder informed of any treatment if it occurs. This provides the Breeder with an opportunity to follow up on puppies and gives important feedback and information on the health of our dogs for future generations.

An AKC registration form, AKC registration is non-transferable, copy of the sales contract with pertinent dates and vet Health check information are provided to the Buyer. By signing, you are acknowledging the receipt of these documents.

It is understood that this is a pet quality dog and representative of its breed. Training/obedience classes are recommended for a happy healthy relationship between dog and family.
Release of Liability Statement:
Once a puppy has been picked up, the Breeder assumes no further responsibility for the health, housing, dietary, or any other related cost (including those related to any damage or injury caused by puppy) other than the outlined above.
This is the complete agreement. Any changes must be agreed upon by both parties and put in writing and signed by both parties.
The Agreement may have multiple copies signed, including electronic signatures, copied and emailed. Each of which shall be deemed an original. All of which together shall be deemed as one and the same instrument.
